Schools across Haringey are seeking Behaviour Mentors to support pupils with complex emotional and behavioural needs. These roles focus on early intervention de-escalation and relationship-led behaviour support.
The Role
You will work closely with pupils who display challenging behaviour linked to SEMH needs trauma anxiety or unmet SEN. Support may be delivered in classrooms intervention spaces or alternative provision settings.
Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 behaviour mentoring
Support emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
Reinforce school routines and expectations
De-escalate incidents calmly
Support pupils return to learning
