Job Summary
Role: Test Engineer III (CAD Python C)
Location: Sunnyvale CA (Onsite)
Salary: $120K - $130K/ Annum Only Lateral
Core Responsibilities:
Manage the operation of a 3D Depth Sensing Characterization Laboratory executing comprehensive test plans utilizing robotic test automation for AR/VR components
(including projectors cameras sensors and optics).
Engage in effective collaboration and communication within a cross-functional team environment.
Mandatory Skills:
Programming: Demonstrated proficiency in Python and C.
Solidworks: Practical experience in designing parts for 3D printing and machining.
Laboratory Work: Direct experience in device control tooling development experiment execution and statistical data analysis.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with Computer Vision tools.
Familiarity with Camera systems.
Knowledge of Lidar mapping systems.
Educational Requirements:
A Bachelors degree in Optical Sciences Physics Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline is required.
Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Must have Skills:
Programming Python C
CAD
Lab Work developing tooling running experiment
Nice-to-have Skills:
Experience with computer Vision cameras sensors having some experience in physics engineering
AR VR projects
Camera company - Someone with lab experience is more important than larger tech company
