Position: QA Automation Engineer

Location: Fully Remote
Engagement: Long-term (12 months)

Type: Contract/Full-time

Overview:
Our is seeking a highly experienced QA Automation Engineer to lead and drive quality engineering across web API database and mobile platforms. This role requires strong hands-on automation expertise CI/CD integration and performance testing experience within agile environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end QA strategy including test planning execution and reporting
Design and execute automated tests for web API database and mobile applications
Develop maintain and enhance automation frameworks
Build and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines across multi-cloud environments
Perform performance and load testing using JMeter
Create and manage test suites using Selenium Appium and Cucumber
Conduct API testing and backend data validation
Track and manage defects using JIRA and participate in defect triage
Troubleshoot failures and continuously improve QA processes and standards

Required Experience:

10 years of experience in QA Automation / Quality Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Java and SQL Server
Solid experience in API and backend testing
Experience working in fast-paced Agile environments
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field

Automation: Selenium TestNG Cucumber Appium
API Testing: Postman Rest Assured
Performance: JMeter
Databases: SQL Server Azure SQL Cosmos DB
CI/CD & Tools: Jenkins CI/CD pipelines JIRA
Mobile Testing: Native Android & iOS testing
