Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale 100MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in the South East of the UK.

This is a full lifecycle role responsible for managing the project from procurement through to construction commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities
-End-to-end project management from procurement to completion
-Management and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers
-Programme budget and risk management
-Interface management with OEMs DNOs and other stakeholders
-Oversight of HSEQ quality and compliance requirements
-Reporting on project progress milestones and issues
-Ensuring successful commissioning and handover

Essential Requirements

-Proven BESS project management experience (essential)
-Experience managing large-scale energy or infrastructure projects
-Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Experience

-Grid or transmission experience
-Technical knowledge of 132kV systems
-Experience working with Sungrow as the OEM
