Whats the role

This role is part of the Enterprise Technology Services team and involves close collaboration with Technical Leads and Business Analysts. As a Developer within the Customer Apps squad you will deliver enhancements to the ServiceNow platform both large and small. Working in an Agile squad structure you will partner with the Product Owner Business Analyst Tech Lead Software Engineer and other Developers to ensure all development and configuration activities follow a consistent process and meet high-quality standards delivering excellent customer outcomes.

Your key responsibilities include collaborating in an Agile or SAFE Release Train environment with BAs Scrum Masters and Tech Leads to refine backlog stories design solutions and provide technical input on ServiceNow best practices. You will also develop and document detailed designs offer peer support and contribute to the efficient delivery of the squad.

Please note: This position is open to interstate candidates as well.

What do I need

  • Good knowledge of ITSM processes and ITIL with ITIL v4 certification preferred.
  • Strong expertise with ServiceNow configuration customisation and administration.
  • Relevant certifications of ServiceNow CSA and CAD.
  • Strong experience with Client Scripts Business Rules UI Policies UI Actions and ACLs including advanced scripting of each forms workflows integration hub and custom Service Portal widgets.
  • Extensive functional knowledge of ServiceNow modules including ITSM ITOM CMDB Report/ Performance Analytics and Service Catalog/Portal.
  • Knowledge of HTTP REST and API design best practices. Understanding of event-driven architectures. Understanding of asynchronous programming concepts. Knowledge of modern web design (CSS HTML etc.) JavaScript and Angular.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C C Java Python is desirable.
