Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate Cask Store Berkeley
Cask is a boutique spirits wine beer and bar products retailer in the San Francisco Bay area. Were proud to bring our carefully curated interesting small-production esoteric and hard-to-find products to home and professional bartenders and beer and wine enthusiasts in an engaging friendly retail environment. This job is primarily focused on selling spirits to our customers in our store. Were looking for friendly sales-driven people with a background or interest in spirits cocktails or wine. If youre as excited about spirits wine and beer as we are then lets get in touch!
Responsibilities
- Courteous and engaging floor sales of spirits wine and beer
- Resolve customer service-related issues
- Apply your knowledge to assist customers in product selection
- Assist with stockroom responsibilities such as product tagging organization and general cleaning
Qualifications
- Experience in the beverage or hospitality industry is highly desired
- An interest in spirits and some product knowledge is required
- Demonstrate an ability to interact well with customers stay positive and maintain strong customer relationships
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Proficiency with basic IT such as Microsoft Word and the ability to learn new programs quickly (point of sale)
- Demonstrate attention to detail
