Job Summary

SAP BI Report Developer/Analyst

Remote Canada

SAP BI Developer/Analyst to design and build reporting analysis and dashboard tools from SAP SAC SAP BW and HANA Live using data from Sales Customer Service Supply Chain Manufacturing and Finance

Responsibilities include:

Contributing to the Avigilon Business Intelligence platform through the design and development of reports dashboards scorecards and analytical tools to support corporate BI initiatives

Develop SAC report and contribute to SAC roll-out

Develop and maintain Fiori reports

Development of SAP BW models data flows and queries

Development of SAP HANA calculation views and stored procedures

Troubleshooting of reports using HANA Studio Query Designer and Business Warehouse

Providing technical support for existing reports and developing new reports in SAP Business Objects (Webi Design Studio Lumira)

Providing ad hoc reporting in response to daily corporate information needs while adhering to service-level agreements

Investigating and resolving any identified data anomalies

Developing automation or scripts to check the integrity and consistency of data

Developing processes and procedures for managing test cases

Monitoring and coordinating the resolution of Master Data issues with business teams

Maintenance of the SAP Business Warehouse environment through proactive incident root cause analysis and problem resolution. Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for the BI team.

Contributing to and documenting new departmental procedures and user guides

Providing system administration and coding best practices input through positive influence to peers and leadership

Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in a related IT area or discipline

8 years of experience as a BI report developer using the SAP BI platform

5 years of experience developing reports using Business Warehouse

3 years experience with Fiori reports

3 years of experience developing SAC reports

2 years of experience developing BEx queries

Experience with master data data quality or data migration projects and processes would be an asset

Technically competent with various software programs and platforms. Experience with MS Office suite (Excel Access Word Visio) is a must.

Required Skills:

Experience (Years): 4-6 Essential Skills: Work with project teams throughout the organization to design implement and manage CDN infrastructure using Akamai to ensure high availability performance and scalability for customer facing applications and business processes. Handle multiple priorities and assignments with excellence and precision. Be a part of a 24/7/365 organization (some after hours support is expected as part of normal on-call rotation). Directly support line of business development teams provide guidance to them on implementation and changes for customer facing applications Develop and maintain security protocols and measures to protect CDN infrastructure from cyber threats. Monitor and analyze network performance identifying and resolving issues to optimize content delivery of critical applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Akamai CDN solutions with existing systems and applications. Collaborate with information security teams to implement DDoS protection strategies and other security measures in the CDN. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams regarding CDN and security best practices. Work closely with vendor and professional service teams on delivery related activities and strategy. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. OR similar work experience. Strong understanding of network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS DNS TCP/IP). Proven experience as a CDN Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on -depth knowledge of Content Delivery Network technologies including caching load balancing and content optimization. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Experience supporting 24/7/365 customer facing applications at enterprise scale. Awareness and experience with cybersecurity tools and practices such as firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems and encryption. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g. Python Bash) a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CEH) are a plus but not required.
