Job Summary

Description

As a Level 2 Assembly Mechanic here at Honeywell you will play a crucial role in the assembly of aircraft systems and components.

You will be accountable for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through meticulous assembly. You will also be accountable to adherence to standard operating procedures. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our business.

You will report directly to one of our Production Supervisors and youll work out of our Sky Harbor Plant in Phoenix Arizona.



Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical systems and components according to engineering drawings and assembly procedures
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues or discrepancies
  • Perform functional testing and validation of assembled products
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes and test results

You Much Have:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related field

Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and assembly procedures

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly

Experience with precision measuring instruments and gauges

Knowledge of lean manufacturing ethics

Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
