Overview: FAVIO is a well-established employment agency based in Barbados with a proven track record of delivering top talent to leading organisations across Barbados and the wider Caribbean region. Due to increased activity in the employment market we are seeking a results-driven Recruitment & Business Development Consultant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to become a trusted and preferred supplier of talent to the corporate and medium-enterprise sector. The successful candidate may choose to develop as a sector or vacancy specialist or work across multiple markets. This is a consultative target-driven role that combines business development relationship management and professional recruitment practices. It is ideally suited to commercially minded individuals with strong interviewing and stakeholder management skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Management
- Proactively identify and contact prospective clients to introduce FAVIOs full suite of recruitment services.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients as allocated by management.
- Obtain and clarify job descriptions and hiring requirements from clients.
- Record all business development and client activity accurately within the CRM system.
Recruitment & Placement Delivery
- Conduct pre-screening and competency-based interviews with potential candidates.
- Shortlist and submit suitable CVs to clients for consideration.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients.
- Obtain and document interview feedback from both candidates and clients.
- Coordinate job offers distribution and acceptance.
- Provide confirmed job offer details to the accounts department for invoicing purposes.
Requirements
- Minimum associate degree in a business-related field.
- Proven Business-to-Business sales experience in a target-driven environment (internal sales telemarketing or external field sales).
- Demonstrated experience identifying candidates through application shortlisting and conducting structured interviews.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel etc.).
- Prior experience using a CRM and/or HRIS database.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally at all organisational levels.
