Bartender | Part-Time | The Dome

The Dome a premier 5000-capacity indoor-outdoor music hall in Virginia Beachs Atlantic Park is seeking energetic and experienced Bartenders to provide top-tier service in a fast-paced high-energy environment. This role is essential in delivering exceptional beverage service creating a welcoming atmosphere and enhancing the overall guest experience.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $2.13 and is tip eligible

This position will remain open until April 17th 2026.

• Beverage Service: Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails beer wine and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately while maintaining high presentation standards.
• Guest Experience: Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner ensuring excellent service and fostering a lively atmosphere.
• Sales & Upselling: Recommend premium drink selections and specialty cocktails to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Cash Handling & POS System: Process transactions efficiently using the venues point-of-sale system while following cash-handling procedures.
• Bar Setup & Maintenance: Stock clean and maintain the bar area before during and after shifts to ensure a smooth operation.
• Responsible Alcohol Service: Follow all responsible beverage service laws and venue policies including checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with barbacks servers and management to maintain seamless service throughout events.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all health safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe and clean working environment.

• Experience: Previous bartending experience in a high-volume bar restaurant or event venue preferred.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails beer wine and spirits. Exceptional multitasking communication and customer service skills.
• Attributes: Outgoing energetic and passionate about creating an unforgettable guest experience.
• Certifications: Must meet state and local alcohol service requirements (e.g. TIPS or similar responsible beverage service certification).
• Availability: Flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays in alignment with The Domes event schedule.
