MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP SUMMER 2026
Summary: This internship opportunity is in our Engineering department. Interns will gain hands-on experience in mechanical and machine position assists a lead engineer in production and machine design including CAD work.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical design and analysis of new and existing hydro turbine or hydro generator products.
- Prepare designs or modifications of full range of products.
- Investigate new concepts for practicality economy and operating efficiency.
- Operate CAD/CAE equipment to complete work assignments & create 3D solid models of components and assemblies.
- Assist Drafters with the use of 3D solid models
Required Skills:
- Enrolled in an accreditedengineering program or CAD technology program.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others to obtain effective results.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
