About The Opportunity

Are you passionate about connecting people with knowledge and community Bundaberg Regional Council is seeking two Casual Library Assistants to join our dynamic library team. These roles are perfect for individuals who enjoy working with people have strong customer service skills and can adapt to a fast-paced environment.

As a Library Assistant you will play an important part in delivering a high-quality library service to our community. Youll provide friendly and professional assistance to customers helping them access resources and navigate technology. The role involves supporting library programs managing circulation tasks and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. You may work independently or as part of a team across multiple branches and youll contribute to creating a safe and inclusive space by following Councils Child Safe policies.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:

  • A current Queensland Working with Children (Blue) Card.
  • Experience in a public library or customer service environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Confidence using computers internet programs and digital devices.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
