The Raytheon Industry 4.0Effectors Automation Systems Engineeringteam is seeking an Industry 4.0 Manufacturing EngineerThis position willbe responsible forsupporting thecriticalplanning andexecutionofexistingand new/upcomingFactory Automationprojectsas a Project Engineer in a growing strategic organization inaddition tosupportingstrategic business planning andcorporate candidate will work in a highly collaborative geographically distributed team.

Theindividual will belocatedatTucson candidate willbe requiredto travel10%of the timein support the projects being managed.

What You Will Do

Planning execution and delivery of Industry 4.0 projectson budget and scheduleensuring they align with our strategic goals and deliver tangible business benefits.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define projectobjectives scope and deliverables ensuring alignment with business requirements and priorities.
Develop project plans timelines and budgets and manage resources to ensure successful project execution within established constraints.
Monitor project progressidentifyrisks andissues and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within budgetand schedule.
Communicate project status milestones and key insights to senior management and stakeholders providing regular updates and recommendations.
Proactivelyidentifyand manage changes in scope
Drive continuous improvement efforts tooptimizeprocesses increase efficiency and enhance the overall effectiveness of Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Stay informed about industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in Industry 4.0 and incorporate relevant insights into project planning and execution.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Demonstrated experience with project management ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

Lean manufacturing experience
Excellent written and verbal communication to present ideas to senior level stakeholders
Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies and concepts including IoT AI machine learning robotics and data analytics.
Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory principlestechnologiesand/or techniques
Experience with planning and execution of capital investment plans and appropriations requests (ARs)

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
