Position Summary:

We are offering a challenging and rewarding position to support the Data & Information team in Service Operations. The Data & Information team works with Big Data and Digital Technologies to give our customers greater control of their operations. Through actionable intelligence we empower our customers to make the shift from reactive rapid-response operations to become more efficient better at-risk management a better planned and predictable business.

The primary role of the EHM Diagnostic Network team is to respond rapidly to emerging product issues by developing & implementing new analytics or by configuring existing live EHM techniques to allow containment of those issues.

The Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) Services Analytical Engineer role is dedicated to ensuring the team delivers service continuity and continuous service improvement for our customers. Through maintaining our data supply chain and improving our service modelling we detect and action potential and actual in-service events without impacting our customers. This position will be focused on maintaining the data supply chain and configuration of our EHM system which allows 24x7 monitoring of Rolls-Royce assets in service.

What you will be doing Role and Responsibilities:

The EHM Services Analytical Engineers accountabilities include:

  • Rapidly design configure & deploy EHM solutions to support the service and improve its effectiveness

  • Capture requirements for EHM improvements through Value Delivery Board Project Zero and any other relevant forums.

  • Work with customers to enhance the value of EHM services and identify future EHM opportunities

  • Provide requirements for testing of and support to the implementation of the new EHM platform

  • Work with other teams to share and evolve best practices for design and configuration of the EHM toolset

Skills and Experience requirements:

  • An Engineering Data Science or IT based degree or relevant experience

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills focused on results able to work under pressure equally capable of managing short term deadlines and long-term projects

  • Strong IT user & configuration skills (to include applications such as SQL Python MATLAB Simulink Tableau Power BI)

  • Team player with ability to work independently and demonstrated ability to deliver to time cost and quality

  • Broad understanding of EHM Service techniques value and customer satisfaction drivers
