As a Systems Engineer you will apply harmonized systems engineering and MBSE methodologies across platform product or component development projects in the medical technology domain. You will work at the intersection of disciplines ensuring a shared system understanding and robust development artifacts that meet regulatory and quality requirements.
Your role:
Apply systems engineering methodologies in product platform and component development projects
Create maintain and govern cross-disciplinary development artifacts such as requirements design decisions use cases FMEAs safety risk assessments and system architectures using SysML-based modeling
Drive and moderate the systems engineering workflow across teams functions and stakeholders
Create and maintain system models including configuration management data integrity and access permissions
Provide system model views tailored to different stakeholder needs and roles
Support project team members in entering and retrieving data from the system model
Take ownership of design documents generated from model data in line with design control processes
You should bring the following:
A Masters degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Science Medical Engineering or Systems Engineering
Strong affinity for describing complex systems and system behavior using structured methodologies
Solid knowledge of systems engineering including requirements engineering system architecture modeling (HW & SW) reliability and safety engineering
Experience with MBSE including SysML/UML and their application in systems engineering
Hands-on experience with modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect or Cameo Systems Modeler
Excellent communication skills to align and moderate across cross-functional and international engineering teams
Awareness of regulatory requirements in the medical device development environment
Solid German and English skills written and spoken

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
