Job Summary
We are seeking a PRN (as-needed) Urgent Care Veterinarian to provide coverage during peak times vacations and schedule gaps. This role is ideal for veterinarians seeking supplemental income schedule flexibility or relief-style work without overnight shifts.
Our facility is designed to support efficient high-quality urgent care medicine allowing you to focus on patient care while working alongside an experienced and supportive clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide urgent care services in a fast-paced clinical setting
Perform medical treatments and soft-tissue surgeries as needed
Collaborate with veterinarians technicians and support staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnosis treatment plans and follow-up care
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Qualifications :
- DVM or equivalent degree.
- Valid veterinary license in Louisiana
- Experienced in surgery and comfortable handling a variety of cases.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
