Our team of Analysts and Engineers is motivated by the direct impact on the mission crafting specialized tools for enhanced efficiency and quick iterations for our operations user base. Your contributions are
- Design implement and optimize infrastructure for AI model inference at scale
- Lead the development and maintenance of production AI services and applications including retrieval augmented generation (RAG) autonomous agents and emerging technologies
- Serve as the technical lead for AI infrastructure initiatives coordinating efforts across integrated teams
- Conduct regular one-on-ones and provide coaching feedback and support to assigned team members
- Act as the team point of contact (POC) for contract administration and coordination activities
- Navigate ambiguity and define solutions for complex underspecified systems and requirements
- Establish technical policies standards and governance frameworks where gaps exist
- Drive adoption of new technologies and engineering best practices across teams
- Implement and oversee monitoring logging and observability solutions for AI services
- Ensure the availability reliability performance and security of AI platform components
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple organizational and technical levels
Requirements for your new career
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
- 12 years of experience in software development
- Extensive experience designing building and operating large-scale production-grade systems
- Deep experience integrating systems across diverse technologies platforms and teams
- Hands-on experience with cloud engineering in AWS
- Advanced proficiency with Kubernetes administration deployment patterns and operational best practices
- Strong Python development skills for building maintaining and operating production services
- Experience implementing scaling and operating observability solutions (e.g. APM OpenTelemetry Grafana Prometheus)
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives influence engineering direction and drive adoption of new practices
- Experience defining implementing and enforcing technical standards policies and governance frameworks
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with engineers leadership and external stakeholders
- Ability to balance hands-on engineering work with technical leadership coordination and mentorship responsibilities

Salary range: $170000 - $240000
