As a System Engineer you will join our team in Peterborough to support our activities within the Automotive sector. You will join our Electrical Systems & Advanced Machine Control team. The project will focus on the design integration and lifecycle management of complex systems that underpin next-generation machine control technologies.
Youll play a pivotal role in shaping systems architecture ensuring requirements are fully defined integrated and validated across the full product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
- Define capture and manage engineering requirements.
- Lead system design and integration across electrical mechanical and software domains.
- Deliver verification and validation activities in alignment with the V-Model.
- Work with external suppliers and stakeholders where required to define specifications and integration requirements.
- Ensure designs adhere to safety regulatory and quality standards.
Qualifications :
Required Skills:
- 23 years of professional experience in systems engineering
- Strong foundation in mechanical and electronic engineering
- Proficiency with DOORS MATLAB and Simulink
- Familiarity with the V-Model systems lifecycle
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in Aerospace Defence or other safety-critical industries
