Job Summary
Engineering & Maintenance
- Attend to all guest room and public area maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical plumbing HVAC mechanical and civil systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in equipment machinery and building infrastructure.
- Ensure proper operation of generators water treatment plants sewage systems fire safety systems and BMS (if applicable).
- Perform regular inspections to identify maintenance issues and safety hazards.
Shift Operations
- Act as the in-charge of the Engineering department during assigned shifts.
- Allocate tasks to technicians and monitor work progress to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders maintenance logs and materials used.
- Coordinate with other departments to support daily resort operations.
Guest Service
- Respond to guest complaints related to engineering issues with courtesy and efficiency.
- Communicate clearly with guests regarding repair timelines and solutions.
- Ensure minimal disruption to guest comfort during maintenance activities.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with resort safety standards SOPs and statutory regulations.
- Participate in emergency response procedures including fire power failure and water system emergencies.
- Ensure tools equipment and work areas are maintained in a safe condition.
Team & Contractor Supervision
- Guide and support junior technicians during duty hours.
- Supervise external contractors and ensure work is completed as per resort standards.
- Assist in on-the-job training and skill development of engineering team members.
Qualifications :
- Diploma or technical certification in Electrical Mechanical HVAC or related engineering fields.
- Minimum 25 years experience in hotel or resort engineering (luxury resort experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and general maintenance systems.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including night duty and emergency calls.
