Role Overview
The Junior Designer will support the Creative Lead and wider design team by producing high quality design assets across digital social print and event collateral. You will work closely with senior designers and creative leadership to bring concepts to life and maintain consistent brand execution across all touchpoints.
This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn quickly gain experience across global scale events and grow within a high performing creative department.
In addition to strong graphic design skills we are looking for a Junior Designer who has an interest in motion design and animated content. This role will suit someone who is excited by the idea of bringing static designs to life and developing their skills in motion across digital and social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design Execution
- Produce layout and design work across social media digital banners presentations event graphics and print materials.
- Support the creation of brand assets for LEAP Black Hat MEA Money20/20 Middle East and IDWS.
- Apply typography colour theory layout structure and visual hierarchy with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Assist in the development of key visuals campaign assets and event led creative.
- Support the creation of simple motion assets and animated content for social media digital display internal presentations and event screens.
- Help adapt existing static designs into short animations loops or transitions for digital use.
- Work alongside senior designers and creative leadership to develop motion-led executions where appropriate.
Collaboration and Workflow
- Work closely with the Creative Lead Senior Designers Marketing team and Traffic Manager.
- Take direction learn quickly and deliver work according to briefs and timelines.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas during team discussions.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and support the team during peak production periods.
- Collaborate with the wider creative team to ensure motion assets align with brand guidelines and overall campaign creative.
- Be open to feedback and guidance when developing motion work with a willingness to learn and improve.
Software and Tools
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator InDesign and Photoshop.
- Confident in building and refining PowerPoint presentations and working within branded templates.
- Basic understanding of AI assisted creative tools or a willingness to learn.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects is required with the ability to create simple animations transitions or motion assets for digital use.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus but not essential.
Qualifications :
- One to two years of design experience ideally in an agency in house studio or through strong internships.
- Solid understanding of design fundamentals including:
- Typography
- Layout and grid systems
- Colour theory
- Visual hierarchy
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with different team members.
- Strong time management skills and an ability to organise workload effectively.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain high quality output during busy periods.
- High attention to detail and confidence in following brand guidelines accurately.
- Demonstrable interest in motion design animation or moving image content either through professional work personal projects or study.
