As a Trainee in our M&A team you will benefit from working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative supportive and low-hierarchy environment. For the Trainee period this autumn we are mainly looking for Trainees to join our Corporate Finance Advisory and Transaction Services offerings. Corporate Finance

Our Corporate Finance team advises our clients in all stages of M&A transactions. You will be involved in all stages M&A transactions supporting in preparing sales materials presentations financial models valuations and other client deliverables. Youll gain hands-on experience working with Nordic and global companies private firms and investors on engaging M&A projects.

Transaction Services

Our Transaction Services team provides buy- and sell-side advisory for corporate acquisitions and divestitures focusing on financial due diligence to analyse target companies profit & loss balance sheets and cash flows. As a Trainee you will assist in due diligence and client engagements building your skills in financial analysis client deliverables and M&A processes.

Deal Transformation

Our Deal Transformation team provides synergy separation HR and IT due diligence services as well as design planning and execution support of integration and separation programmes typically in M&A context. Our team also provides profitability and working capital improvement services. Your tasks would for example include various due diligence and diagnostics analyses peer company and functional benchmarking client workshop and meeting facilitation documentation and reporting support.

Qualifications :

What do we hope for from you

If you got excited reading the job description have an analytical and solution-oriented mindset and a collaborative attitude you might be the M&A Trainee that we are looking for!

We also hope that you have:

• Have a strong academic record with a relevant masters degree e.g. Finance Accounting or a related field (close to graduation or graduated)
• Excellent analytical skills and strong motivation as well as interest in M&A
• Confidence in using Excel and PowerPoint and eagerness to learn new analytical tools
• Good communication skills and excellent command of Finnish and English

Previous relevant work experience is considered an advantage but are not required.

To be considered for this Trainee position a prerequisite is that you are currently allowed to work in Finland holding a valid residence permit if required.
