• Provide statistical leadership from study design through analysis including developing statistical analysis plans determining methodological strategy and serving as the lead biostatistician on assigned projects.
• Perform advanced statistical analyses interpret results and author/review the statistical content for study reports manuscripts and regulatory submissions.
• Ensure analytical quality and mentor junior team members through oversight of statistical programming and methodology.
• Collaborate closely with clinical regulatory and data management teams to align statistical strategy with overall project goals.

• A Ph.D. in Biostatistics Statistics or a closely related quantitative field.
• More than 5 years of experience applying statistical methods in a research setting preferably within the life sciences or healthcare
• Advanced proficiency with statistical programming in R for data analysis modelling and visualization.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills adaptability and a collaborative approach to team work.
• A Masters degree in Biostatistics or Data Science will be considered an asset.
• Experience with other statistical software (e.g. SAS Stata) and knowledge of regulatory guidelines (e.g. ICH-GCP) is a valued asset.

The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research centre located in Badalona. Its main objective is to increase scientific knowledge in order to transform it into solutions to improve the health and medical care of patients and the community.

The Institute is associated with one of the major university hospitals in the Barcelona area the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital and is part of the Can Ruti biomedical campus. IGTP is a CERCA centre and is also accredited as a centre of excellence by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) and is in charge of coordinating the management and scientific strategy of the campus working in close collaboration with the other centres.
