Environmental Services Aide (Full-Time)

Position Summary

Wesley Manor Retirement Community is hiring a Full-Time Environmental Services Aide to help maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment for our residents visitors and staff. This essential role directly supports resident health comfort and quality of life by ensuring our community meets the highest standards of cleanliness and infection prevention.

Key Responsibilities

The essential functions include but are not limited to:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms common areas restrooms and dining spaces in accordance with established procedures.

• Follow daily weekly and periodic cleaning schedules to ensure consistent standards throughout the community.

• Safely use and properly store cleaning chemicals tools and equipment.

• Identify and promptly report maintenance safety or sanitation concerns.

• Assist with laundry operations including washing drying folding and distributing linens and resident clothing.

• Support infection control and prevention practices by adhering to all health safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Respond to resident requests in a courteous professional and timely manner.

• Participate in onboarding required training and ongoing development.

• Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with all privacy regulations.

• Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Prior experience in housekeeping custodial or environmental services preferred; healthcare or senior living experience is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

• Excellent reliability work ethic and time management skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively and interact respectfully with residents families and team members.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Physically able to lift move and handle equipment and supplies safely.

Schedule

• Full-time position - Monday through Friday - 6AM to 2PM and every other weekend

• Day evening and weekend shifts may be required based on operational needs.
