Job Summary
Introduction
Our client a leader within the healthcare industry requires a Senior Cloud Architect. This role will be based in Sunninghill JHB.
The Senior Cloud Architect will be responsible for leading coordinating and implementing all cloud deployments from a technology architecture perspective. Responsible for conceptualising architectural approaches developing and validating both on premise and cloud architecture and high-level solution design against business requirements and best practices and guiding and mentoring operational teams on methodologies processes and cloud best practices according tothe CompanysEnterprise Architecture Framework and methodologies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Cloud design and architecture
- Windows Server Operating Systems
- Virtualisation
- Information Security and compliance
- Reporting and trend analysis
- Cloud backups and monitoring of cloud resources
- Microsoft architecture and solution design
- Project management
- Business continuity and disaster recovery
- Cloud infrastructure Support and Management
- System automation (PowerShell scripting)
- O365 Support and Management
- Implement and automate the deployment of IaaS and PaaS services in Azure.
- Develop and implement cloud strategy and vision enterprise cloud security cloud solution design and delivery cloud migrations infrastructure automation across a wide range of platforms.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications:
- B degree OR relevant technology advanced diploma at NQF level 7.
- Microsoft Certified Cloud Architect.
- Microsoft Specialist: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 - 10 years in senior cloud architect/azure devops engineer.
- Minimum 5 years Microsoft technology and solutions design experience.
