Senior Contentious Trust & Probate Solicitor

Salary:(DOE) Bonus

Location: York or North Yorkshire (Hybrid/Flexible Working Supported)

Experience: 8 years PQE (Contentious Trust & Probate)

Are you an experienced litigation solicitor seeking a senior role in contentious trust and probate work Our clients specialist team handles a diverse and high-quality caseload supporting clients across the region on a full range of contentious trust probate and property disputes. The Opportunity

• Lead and manage a varied caseload including Inheritance Act claims will validity challenges estate administration disputes and trust litigation

• Advise on disputes involving will interpretation rectification and construction

• Handle beneficial and resulting trust issues TOLATA 1996 claims proprietary estoppel and property/land disputes

• Support mediations and alternative dispute resolution processes

• Act on professional negligence claims related to estate planning

• Mentor junior team members and play a key role in business development

• Build and develop client relationships across a range of sectors including agriculture

What Were Looking For

• Qualified solicitor with at least 8 years PQE in civil litigation contentious trust and probate or property disputes

• Extensive technical expertise in contentious trust and probate matters

• Outstanding client care and relationship-building skills

• Determination to succeed and progress within a growing team

• Initiative eagerness to learn and develop others and a commercial professional approach

• Ability to lead work independently and collaborate effectively
