What Your Day Will Look Like:
Consor Engineers is seeking a Bridge Engineer for our Phoenix AZ office.

What Youll Do:
- Lead and manage the successful delivery of bridge design projects ensuring quality schedule and budget expectations are met.
- Perform and oversee structural analysis and design for bridges and related transportation structures in accordance with AASHTO and state DOT standards.
- Prepare and review plans specifications and estimates (PS&E) for bridge projects.
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior engineers and support office growth.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients contractors and agencies.
- Participate in project scoping budgeting and QA/QC reviews.
- Cultivate strong client relationships and contribute to business development efforts in Arizona and surrounding regions.
- Engage in professional associations and industry events to elevate Consors visibility.
What Youll Need:
Required Credentials
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or related discipline.
- 8 years of experience in structural/bridge design engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g. LEAP Bridge MIDAS STAAD or similar).
- Strong understanding of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and state DOT standards.
- Demonstrated experience delivering PS&E packages for bridge projects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with complex bridge projects including steel and prestressed concrete structures.
- Familiarity with design-build project delivery.
- Prior consulting experience managing municipal or state DOT projects.
- Experience mentoring staff and leading technical teams.
- Self-motivated with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
