As an Engineering Intern you will play a key role in supporting technical projects and initiatives that bring value to patients customers and our employees. Youll collaborate with a passionate global team to conduct research testing and planning while gaining hands-on experience in engineering processes and innovation.
In this role a typical day will include:
- Writing and reviewing technical documents to support engineering projects.
- Assisting with research and development activities to support global manufacturing initiatives
- Evaluating new production materials equipment and technologies.
- Assessing technical feasibility to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborating with engineers on global initiatives that impact business success.
- Applying analytical and problem-solving skills to improve existing processes.
- Learning and contributing to projects that enhance patient care and product performance.
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to and following the internship.
- Pursuing a bachelors degree or higher in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0.
- Demonstrated leadership skills through extracurricular activities or projects.
- Ability to commit to a 1012 week full-time (40 hours/week) summer internship.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of curiosity and willingness to learn.
