SEN Teaching Assistant position available from January 2026
Full-time support role within a Southwark primary school
Start date confirmed for January 2026
You will work closely with pupils requiring additional support adapting strategies to meet individual needs while promoting independence and positive engagement.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting learning across the classroom
Delivering structured interventions
Assisting with emotional regulation strategies
Monitoring progress and feeding back to staff
Supporting pupils during transitions and routines
Person specification:
Previous SEN support experience desirable
Patient empathetic and proactive attitude
Ability to follow guidance and adapt strategies
Strong organisational skills
Commitment to inclusive education
This SEN Teaching Assistant role begins January 2026.
