Our client is currently developing an anti-fraud platform to enhance security in trading and payment operations for top Forex companies. This comprehensive solution is being built from the ground up and will feature a rule management engine integration with various data providers clone detection tools and risk-scoring models. Additionally there are plans to develop a unified back-office system for rule configuration transaction monitoring and risk mitigation management.
The Risk Analyst is responsible for strengthening payments fraud controls reducing losses caused by operational mistakes optimizing the use of external fraud vendors (with a key focus on Lexis Nexis) and ensuring full operational documentation coverage. The role combines hands-on fraud operations process ownership and cross-functional collaboration with clear accountability for measurable outcomes in 2026.
2026 Success Metrics:
Losses caused by operational mistakes reduced to defined annual targets.
Operational error rate maintained within defined quarterly thresholds.
Increased actionable hit-rate and improved signal relevance from Lexis Nexis.
100% of core payments fraud operational flows documented and formally approved.
SOPs actively used and aligned across operational teams.
Responsibilities:
Payments Anti-Fraud & Loss Reduction
Design implement and optimize payments anti-fraud rules (deposits withdrawals chargebacks etc).
Identify root causes of fraud losses related to operational mistakes and implement preventive controls.
Contribute to reducing losses caused by operational errors to defined annual targets by brand/segment.
External Vendor Strategy (Lexis Nexis)
Participate in redesigning the Lexis Nexis usage strategy.
Improve the effectiveness of Lexis Nexis checks by increasing actionable hit-rate and signal relevance.
Monitor vendor performance and support data-driven optimization decisions.
Support the design of a data-driven and operationally safe exit plan from Lexis Nexis for 2027.
SOPs & Operational Documentation
Create and maintain SOPs from scratch for all known payments fraud types and core operational flows.
Ensure 100% of core operational flows are documented up to date and consistently applied.
Stakeholder & Operational Management
Act as a key payments anti-fraud contact for Payments Operations Risk Compliance and Product teams.
Manage backlog priorities and handle ad-hoc fraud cases and urgent escalations.
Support governance discussions related to fraud controls and operational risk.

Proven experience in Payments Anti-Fraud within CFD brokers.
Strong understanding of payment flows chargebacks and payments-related fraud typologies.
Hands-on experience creating fraud rules and SOPs from scratch.
Experience working with external fraud vendors (Lexis Nexis or similar).
Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
