Estimator / Project Manager
Job Overview
The Estimator / Project Manager is responsible for developing accurate and timely cost estimates for bids and proposals while also overseeing the planning execution and financial performance of construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the estimating team to develop project estimates and price assigned scopes using estimating software.

Review project specifications drawings and bid documents; attend pre-bid meetings to fully define project scope and requirements.

Develop maintain and manage project schedules to achieve critical milestones and maintain the critical path.

Identify establish and manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
-
Create and execute comprehensive project plans in coordination with site supervision.
-
Maintain overall responsibility for project safety quality schedule and budget across projects of varying sizes.
-
Lead and supervise project administrators superintendents and engineers to establish priorities and ensure effective collaboration.
-
Promote company values expectations and performance standards aligned with the organizations mission and vision.
-
Oversee all aspects of project management including staffing resources scheduling and cost controls to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Manage cost tracking program documentation and subcontractor performance.
-
Provide coaching mentorship and professional development to project staff.
-
Implement and monitor safety programs including hazard communication initiatives.
-
Enforce quality control standards and hold supervisors accountable for workmanship and deliverables.
Qualifications
-
Proven experience with plan take-offs and construction estimating software.
-
Required experience in Sitework Roadway or Utility construction projects.
-
Minimum of five (5) years of project experience in Sitework Roadway or Utilities.
-
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
-
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
-
Excellent organizational prioritization and attention-to-detail skills.
-
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
