Job Summary

Shikha Agarwal & Co. is seeking an experienced Accountant with strong exposure to the Garment / Manufacturing Industry. The ideal candidate should be proficient in GST TDS accounting MIS preparation and reconciliation processes with hands-on experience in Tally ERP 9.

Roles & Responsibilities

Preparation and filing of GST Monthly & Annual Returns
GST Input and Output Reconciliation
TDS deduction compliance and return filing
Handling day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping as per cost centers in Tally ERP 9
Generation of E-Way Bills and E-Invoicing
Bank vendor and customer reconciliation
Preparation of MIS reports and budgets for management review
Maintenance and preparation of Fixed Asset Register (FAR)
Conduct physical verification of fixed assets
Physical verification of inventory and reconciliation with books
Ensure compliance with statutory and internal accounting standards
Coordinate with auditors and consultants as required

Required Skills & Knowledge

Strong knowledge of GST TDS and statutory compliance
Hands-on experience with Tally ERP 9
Good understanding of cost-center accounting
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Language Requirement

Preferred: English and Tamil

Preferred Industry Experience

Prior experience in Garment / Textile / Manufacturing Industry will be highly preferred
