Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Perform in-process and final assembly inspections in accordance with QMS requirements
-
Accurately input inspection data and results into applicable systems
-
Follow and document complex inspection and manufacturing processes
-
Communicate inspection results and product acceptance criteria with engineering management and production teams
-
Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) within Oracle ERP TipQA and/or Apriso as required
-
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
3 5 years of experience required
-
A&P License highly desired
-
Specific vision abilities required including color perception close and distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and focus adjustment (corrected or uncorrected)
-
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted
-
Working knowledge of AS9100 and other relevant aerospace industry standards
-
Hands-on experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment with emphasis on aircraft mechanical and pneumatic systems including prototype aircraft and mechanical system integration
-
Experience inspecting a wide range of components including engines avionics and aircraft structures
-
Strong understanding of FAA regulations and aviation industry requirements
-
In-depth knowledge of inspection techniques and quality issues related to aerospace hardware and systems
-
Ability to generate NCRs using TipQA and/or Apriso
-
Proficiency with Microsoft tools CATIA V5 (or similar CAD software) and 2D/3D engineering drawings
-
Strong math and technical writing skills
-
Proven experience using precision measurement tools in aerospace inspection
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to work effectively with all levels of company personnel
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
