About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team specializing in testing Oracle-based Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications. This leadership role will oversee QA processes for complex ERP implementations and enhancements with a focus on Oracle SCM modules (e.g. Inventory Order Management Procurement Manufacturing). You will lead a team of QA analysts and testers drive testing strategies and ensure high-quality deliverables in a dynamic supply chain environment.

The ideal candidate combines deep domain expertise in Oracle SCM with strong technical QA skills including API testing defect triage and log analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the QA team in planning designing and executing test strategies for Oracle SCM projects including functional integration regression and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans test cases and scripts tailored to Oracle Supply Chain processes (e.g. procurement-to-pay order-to-cash inventory management).
• Oversee defect management: triage issues prioritize bugs analyze application/server logs and collaborate with development and functional teams for resolution.
• Perform and guide API testing (using tools like Postman SoapUI or REST Assured) for integrations involving Oracle APIs and third-party systems.
• Mentor and manage junior QA team members conduct code/test reviews and foster best practices in quality assurance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (developers business analysts Oracle functional consultants) during requirements gathering UAT and production releases.
• Implement and improve QA processes including automation where applicable to enhance efficiency in testing Oracle ERP environments.
• Analyze production issues using logs SQL queries on Oracle databases and diagnostic tools to support root cause analysis.
• Report on QA metrics (defect density test coverage escape rates) and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with testing standards and contribute to continuous improvement in supply chain application quality.

Required Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in software quality assurance with at least 3 years in a lead or senior QA role.
• Proven expertise in testing Oracle ERP applications particularly Supply Chain Management modules (Oracle EBS R12 or Oracle Cloud SCM/Fusion).
• Strong domain knowledge of supply chain processes (e.g. inventory purchasing order management manufacturing).
• Hands-on experience with API testing web services (REST/SOAP) and integration testing.
• Proficiency in defect triage log analysis (application server database logs) and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Experience with SQL/PL/SQL for querying Oracle databases and validating data integrity.
• Experience in AZURE ADO
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium JIRA TestRail HP ALM or similar.
• Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Supply Chain Management or a related field.

• Experience leading QA for Oracle SCM implementations or upgrades.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium Cucumber) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Confluence.
