Job Summary

Job Title: PLC Electronics Technician 1st Shift

Location: Valdosta Georgia

Job Summary:

The PLC Electronics Technician is responsible for testing troubleshooting installing and maintaining PLCs HMIs motor control systems and communication networks to ensure the smooth functioning of manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Test and diagnose faulty electronic equipment using tools/software.
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
Troubleshoot repair and install PLCs HMIs and inverter control packages.
Maintain and install fiber and copper communication networks.
Collaborate with IT on data transfer/reporting.
Provide documentation SOPs and training to support operations.
Ensure compliance with NEC NFPA IEC codes.
Respond to after-hours calls as needed.
Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Adhere to all safety food safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years experience in PLC HMI and motor control system development installation and troubleshooting.

Specialized training in:

PLC programming (ladder logic function block statement list)
HMI configuration (screen layout animation alarms)
Documentation and program structure
Electrical and mechanical diagram interpretation

Skills:

Strong diagnostic and analytical ability.
Understanding of industrial codes (NEC NFPA IEC).
Able to work independently and flexible hours as needed.
