Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain KBA Metal Star 4 or similar off set printing machines.
Handle frequent job changeovers short runs and unique print jobs with precision and effi ciency.
Prepare and mount plates manage ink and water balance and handle diff erent substrates eff ectively.
Troubleshoot and resolve printing issues related to registration ink and print consistency.
Monitor color accuracy using CMYK color management systems and ensure correct reproduction through proper calibration.
Work with digital workfl ows and automation systems used in large-format printing. Collaborate with pre-press ink room and management teams for smooth coordination and workfl ow.
Ensure consistent print quality and repeatability through attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean organized work area.
Participate in continuous learning and training to adapt to new printing technologies and processes.
Education
Diploma in Printing Technology preferred.
