Kendrick Recruitment is currently recruiting for a luxury lodge based in Hoedspruit. Our client is seeking an experienced Reception Manager with strong front office and hospitality management skills committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a positive attitude and friendly demeanour
Welcome guests on arrival and manage check-outs
Manage incoming calls and respond to all guest questions and requests
Accept payments and perform other administrative duties
Prioritise and manage tasks independently with good planning and organisational skills
Be proactive use initiative and apply creative flair when required
Oversee reception and front office operations ensuring high standards are maintained
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role preferably in a high-end safari lodge or hotel
Matric / Grade 12; Diploma or equivalent in Hospitality Management beneficial
Excellent reception and front office control skills
Exceptional customer service skills including the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
Strong understanding of lodge operations and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer literate (MS Office Suite reservation systems POS systems financial systems)
Strong financial acumen and knowledge of procedures
Experience with stock control
Willingness to work irregular hours including nights weekends and public holidays

Monthly package market-related depending on experience and qualifications

Work cycle 3 weeks on 1 week off
15 days annual leave
