MRI Supervisor (Gippsland: Drouin/Warragul)

A rare opportunity has become available for an MRI Supervisor to join our team and lead the MRI unit at our full-service Drouin and Warragul clinics. Take your clinical and mentoring skills to the next level and play a key role in driving service excellence within MRI!

As MRI Supervisor you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the MRI department and:

Work collaboratively with the Operational and Clinical Leadership team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Produce high quality diagnostic images and adapt protocols with guidance from the MRI Co-ordinator
Be a problem solver to ensure operational success
Foster a highly engaged and motivated MRI team to ensure a consistent and effective clinical workflow
Train and develop your team members to improve performance implementing training programs as needed including relevant CPD

Experience required

Bachelors degree in Radiography Medical Imaging or related field (Post Graduate degree is an added bonus)
Minimum of 5 years of experience within MRI (including MRI Level 1 Certificate and knowledge of MRI protocols and regulatory requirements) with the ability to draw on this to manage the day-to-day provision of the MRI service
AHPRA registration
Demonstrated experience in optimising workflow and influencing desired outcomes
A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on advancements in MRI technology and techniques
People leadership experience and the ability to work under pressure adapt quickly and juggle a number of priorities across different locations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with and put patients at ease.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
The operational demands of a first in class service delivery sometimes requires input out of hours and on weekends.
