Job Summary
SAEKI Rebuilding Europes industrial backbone
Europes defense industrial base cannot respond at the speed modern conflict requires. Legacy suppliers operate on month long timelines. Tribal knowledge is retiring. Supply chains are fragile. SAEKI is building the operating system for autonomous factories - the infrastructure that lets Europe manufacture mission-critical components at software speed.
Youll build the customer-facing portal and factory operating system features that connect our customers to our factory. When a critical program needs parts by next week your code is how they get them.

The Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on our Platform team youll own development of our customer portal and ERP/MES systems - the interface between our Manufacturing Intelligence stack and the humans who use it. Youll architect features from customer CAD upload to real-time order tracking to operator work instructions.
Based at our new HQ in Zurich (Oerlikon) youll build:
Customer Portal: CAD upload automated quotes order management secure document exchange real-time tracking
Factory OS (ERP/MES): Job scheduling work order management operator interfaces production tracking quality workflows
Note: You do not need defense or manufacturing experience to excel in this role

What Youll Do
- Build and ship customer portal features that defense customers rely on for mission-critical parts
- Architect ERP/MES functionality that operators use to run Factory ONE in Germany
- Spend time in the factory understanding how your interfaces work under production pressure then improve them
- Own features end-to-end - from database schema to API design to frontend implementation
- Work directly with customers CAM programmers and operators to understand their workflows
What Were Looking For
- 5 years of experience as a software engineer with a proven track record of shipping production-ready applications.
- Technical Excellence: Strong command of TypeScript React and modern backend patterns. Comfortable with PostgreSQL optimization and API design.
- Technical Agency: You are comfortable making decisions with minimal supervision and have a passion for building interfaces that solve complex user workflows.
- Impact-Driven: You understand how technical decisions in Zurich impact the operators and machines on the shop floor in Germany.
- Adaptability: You thrive in a constantly evolving environment with dynamic objectives and enjoy iterating directly with users to solve ground truth problems.
- Continuous Learning: You have the ability to quickly master new technologies and industrial concepts even without prior experience.
- Maniacal Urgency: You understand that speed is our only edge. You thrive in the chaos-to-order phase of a startup.
- First Principles Thinker: You dont reason by analogy. You reason by physics and economics. You calculate the Idiot Index of every feature before you build it.
- Industrial Grit: You are comfortable spending time on the shop floor in Germany to see how your software interacts with 50-ton machines.
- Ability to work in-person at our HQ in Zurich Switzerland.
