Data Modelling Consultant
Location: Riyadh (Hybrid) Practice Area: Data & Analytics Type: Permanent

The Role

As a Senior Data Modelling Consultant at Capco youll help clients design evolve and optimise data models that underpin analytics reporting and digital transformation. Youll work closely with data engineers architects and business stakeholders to ensure data structures are clear consistent and aligned to real-world use cases. You will act as a trusted advisor and providing technical leadership to cross-functional squads.

What Youll Do

• Lead the design of conceptual logical and physical data models to support analytics and reporting needs
• Partner with business and technology teams to translate high-level business requirements into governed data structures
• Architect models specifically tuned for modern data stacks and support data platform initiatives including cloud architectures
• Ensure data models align with governance quality and regulatory expectations
• Contribute to best practices and modelling standards across client engagements

What Were Looking For

• Experience in data modelling with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end architectures in complex highly regulated industries (Financial Services/Banking preferred)
• Expert-level proficiency in enterprise modeling tools and seamless integration of models into modern data workflows.
• Proven ability to bridge the gap between drawing a model and building it i.e. a solid understanding of how logical designs translate into physical performance within Data Warehouses and/or Lakehouse architectures
• Ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• The ability to defend architectural decisions to technical stakeholders and articulating the business value of a data model to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills
