Mobile Developer (Android Mobile App Developer)

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mobile App Developer to join our dynamic this role you will be responsible for developing patient- and clinician-facing apps for our medical devices.

Your Responsibilities

Design develop and deploy Mobile Apps for medical devices ensuring performance reliability and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers product managers and quality assurance professionals to deliver high-quality software products.
Follow best practices for design of complex Android apps using Kotlin.
Work closely with regulatory affairs and compliance teams to ensure software development processes adhere to industry standards and regulations.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends incorporating them into software development strategies to drive innovation.

Your Profile

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
At least 10-12 years of relevant work experience in Android Mobile App Development
At least 7 years of relevant work experience in the medical device industry would be an added advantage
Proven experience developing Native Android apps using Kotlin
Proven experience with the Android Bluetooth APIs preferred.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases (ideally Couchbase) preferred.
Thorough understanding of MVVM Design Pattern
Strong understanding of security principles in Mobile Apps.
Experience with the Android Bluetooth LE APIs preferred.
Proven experience delivering quality Android application on Google Play Store and Google Play Console
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Prior experience from the healthcare or medical device industry would be an added advantage.
