Corporate Finance Trainee

We are looking for motivated students who are finalising their studies or recent graduates to join our Corporate Finance team as a Trainee in Helsinki. The full-time Trainee position begins in August 2026 and lasts about 5 months. Many Trainees continue with us into permanent roles after their Trainee period.

Your role

As a Trainee you will support experienced professionals in all stages of M&A transactions in an international environment including preparing sales materials presentations financial models valuations and other client deliverables. The Trainee period offers a unique opportunity to work with Nordic and global corporations private companies and financial investors taking an active role in engaging M&A and valuation projects as well as client interactions. Our Corporate Finance team is a core part of Deloittes broader M&A offering.

What do we hope from you

If you are excited by the job description enjoy problem-solving are highly motivated to perform and have a true team-player attitude you might be the Corporate Finance Trainee we are looking for!

We also hope that you have:

• An excellent academic record with a relevant masters degree (e.g. Finance Accounting Economics or Engineering) either nearing graduation or recently graduated
• An analytical and result-oriented mindset with a strong interest in M&A
• Good communication skills and excellent command of both Finnish and English
• Solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint

Previous work experience in investment banking private equity or management consulting is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.

To be considered for this Trainee position a prerequisite is that you are currently allowed to work in Finland holding a valid residence permit if required.
