We are currently looking for anAccreditation Evaluator- MHRA Academy to join our People Function within the Corporate group.

This is a full-timeopportunity on a permanent basis. The role will be based in 10 South Colonnade Canary Wharf London E14 4PU.

Government departments and agencies are working towards implementing a minimum 60% attendance in office sites.

We are currently implementing a flexible hybrid way of working with a minimum of 8 days per month working on site to enable the collaboration and contact with partners and stakeholders needed to deliver MHRA business. Attendance on site is driven by business needs so depending on the nature of the role this can flex up to 12 days a month with the remainder of time worked either remotely or in the office. Some roles will need to be on site more regularly.

Whats the role

The role sits within the newly established MHRA Academy team which is a new and exciting initiative aiming to set standards for MHRA Regulatory training and qualification ensuring that the learning and development provided to key front-line colleagues is of the highest quality. Reporting to the Head of Accreditation and Standards you will play a key role in the development and delivery of a credible accreditation framework across a range of regulatory assessor and inspector learning pathways and you will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to implement and operate a fair and consistent accreditation process. The role will be responsible for embedding accreditation processes and monitoring and supporting learner progression through the exploitation of the planned new Learning Management System (LMS).

Key responsibilities:

  • Contributing to the design development and implementation of a comprehensive accreditation framework that supports the professional development journey of technical assessors and inspectors ensuring it is inclusive accessible and aligned to workforce needs

  • Exploiting digital platforms including the planned new LMS to develop implement and maintain accreditation-related processes guidance documents templates standard operating procedures and develop systems and structures to support the collection tracking and analysis of accreditation data across assessor cohorts.

  • Acting as the key liaison point for learners throughout their accreditation journey ensuring appropriate support resources and coaching are in place including leading on the facilitation of accreditation journey induction and advising in conjunction with line managers on planning and review conversations with learners and completion of any initial skills assessments as well as the development of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).

  • Collaborating with colleagues in the Academy Talent & Capabilities and Curriculum teams to shape work-based learning programmes and developmental activities that underpin accreditation and continuing professional development (CPD).

Who are we looking for

Oursuccessful candidatewill have the following:

  • An experienced learning and development professional with demonstrable expertise in learner evaluation assessment methodologies and quality assurance systems.

  • Will be capable of optimising the use of LMS/technology to devise and implement effective user friendly and robust accreditation related processes including formative and summative assessment approaches in an adult learning context.

  • Be an effective communicator comfortable using different methods to communicate and engage with groups and SMEs as well as at ease with coaching individuals through accreditation processes.

Technical Criteria:

  • Relevant CIPD level 5 (or equivalent qualification) in learning and development/assessment/coaching or equivalent demonstrable experience (A)
