PM&R PA AHMG Orthopedics & Spine at Castle RockAdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care support and education to patients and their families through all aspects of their physical medicine and rehabilitation process. The PA will participate as a key member of the Orthopedic and Spine team to identify and meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient. We are looking for someone who utilizes a collaborative multi-disciplinary approach to the patient/familys care serving as an expert practitioner educator consultant and researcher in the inpatient operative and outpatient settings. This PA will split their time 75% in clinic 25% in the hospital procedure include a CV with your application NO NEW GRADS at this time. Experience must include 2 years in either neurosurgery or PM&R PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists in seeing both new and return patientsConducts rounding on patients and supports physicians with patients in will include Knee injections Bursa injections shoulder injections trigger point injections and occipital nerve for ablations epidurals spinal cord stimulator trials peripheral nerve stimulators kyphoplasty and Basi vertebral nerve with spinal cord stimulator implants in the futureOrders and interprets test as a resource person for individuals with questions regarding their diagnosis or treatment and coordinates the multidisciplinary plan of in collaboration with other APPs and physicians using established and approved protocols as required by institutional uses time personnel equipment and supplies to provide high-quality cost-effective delivery of patient Range: $73.14 - $79.65 /hr.
