We are seeking an experienced Lead Low-Voltage/Security Technician to join our growing team in the Atlanta GA market. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise in commercial security systems who can oversee teams of low-voltage cabling and security technicians across multiple job sites. While primarily supporting projects in the Atlanta metro area this position will occasionally require travel up and down the Eastern Seaboard as needed.
This technician will be dispatched from their home and play a critical role in ensuring high-quality installations team performance and customer satisfaction across CCTV access control and integrated security systems.
Responsibilities:

Lead supervise and mentor teams of structured cabling and security technicians on commercial job sites

Coordinate daily field operations manpower allocation and job priorities to meet project timelines
-
Serve as the technical lead for security system installations configurations and commissioning
-
Install program and troubleshoot CCTV security camera systems and access control platforms
-
Conduct site walks and system assessments to evaluate scope design requirements and installation plans
-
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with industry standards safety regulations and company quality expectations

Troubleshoot complex system issues perform diagnostics and support system upgrades or expansions
-
Collaborate with project managers clients vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
-
Maintain accurate documentation for installations configurations as-builts and service activities
-
Stay current on emerging security technologies and recommend best practices or system improvements

Represent the company professionally on job sites and with end users
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or industry training preferred
-
3 years of hands-on experience with commercial security systems including leadership or lead technician experience
-
Strong working knowledge of CCTV access control and integrated security systems
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage cabling including Cat 5 Cat 6 Cat 5e Cat 6A fiber optic coaxial etc.

Proven experience leading field teams and managing multiple job sites

Ability to read prints schematics and system designs

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and leadership abilities

High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Valid drivers license and ability to travel as required
