The role

  • Part Time (28 hours per week) Continuing
  • Level 7 - $81136 to $88655 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Bathurst Port Macquarie or Wagga Wagga

As the Intake and Triage Counsellor you will deliver counselling to students across face-to-face phone and online sessions supporting their wellbeing resilience and sense of belonging throughout their university journey. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen student support programs and contribute to a safe inclusive and engaging campus environment.

About you

  • Qualified professional with a psychology or social work degree and registration (AHPRA/AASW) backed by substantial applied experience.
  • Inclusive practitioner who understands the diverse needs of students within the contemporary tertiary education sector.
  • Proficient in administration and recordkeeping with confident use of technology and systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The appointment is conditional upon the successful applicant producing satisfying and maintaining a Working with Children Check in accordance with the Commission for Children and Young People Act (NSW).
