Job Summary
Job Responsibilities Disassemble inspect and assess mechanical assemblies components and machinery for wear damage or failure. Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools power tools and precision instruments. Reassemble equipment to original specifications ensuring proper alignment clearances and torque settings. Perform fabrication work including cutting welding and grinding metal components. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication cleaning and parts replacement according to schedules. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine the root cause of failures. Test repaired equipment to ensure it operates correctly and safely. Maintain a clean safe and organized workshop environment. Manage tool inventory and order necessary parts and supplies. Complete job cards and service reports accurately.
