The successful candidate will work closely with pupils who require additional support due to a range of needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD speech and language difficulties SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health needs) and learning difficulties. Support may be delivered on a one-to-one basis in small intervention groups or within the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored academic and emotional support to pupils with SEN
Support the implementation of EHCPs IEPs and individual behaviour plans
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to meet pupil needs
Support pupils with emotional regulation communication and social skills
Promote positive behaviour using consistent strategies
Adapt learning materials to support different learning styles
Support pupils during lessons transitions and unstructured times
Encourage independence confidence and resilience
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote pupil wellbeing at all times

Essential Requirements
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
Understanding of common SEN conditions and support strategies
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK
Desirable (But Not Essential)
SEN or education-related qualifications
Team Teach or behaviour management training
Experience in specialist provisions or SEN units
Background in education psychology care or youth work
