Chief Operation Officer (COO) Founding Role

Remote Equity-only Early-stage AI/Education Startup

Maxibook is an early-stage AI startup rethinking how scientific knowledge is delivered organized and personalized.

We are building an Adaptive Knowledge System powered by dynamic knowledge maps and LLM-driven adaptive content with an MVP expected by Q1 2026.

Our initial focus is on universities research institutions and publicly funded initiatives with future expansion into the corporate HR sector (onboarding continuous training skill-gap reduction).

We are entering the fundraising phase and looking for a co-founder who want to build something transformative from the ground up.

Tasks

As COO & Co-Founder you will work closely with the CEO to execute the companys funding strategy structure the business plan and develop strategic relationships with investors institutions and innovation ecosystems.

This role focuses on operational execution on the business side ensuring that vision and product direction are translated into credible financial plans funding readiness and concrete growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the execution of the funding strategy in alignment with the CEO
• Develop and maintain business plans financial models and projections
• Prepare and manage investor and funding materials (pitch deck data room financial narratives)
• Identify and follow funding opportunities (VC startup builders accelerators public and institutional programs)
• Build and maintain relationships with investors universities research centers and institutions
• Act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders on business and funding topics
• Support operational structuring and prioritization during the early growth phase
• Collaborate continuously with the CEO to align execution with long-term strategy

Requirements

COO

• Proven experience in startup funding strategy business planning or venture finance
• Strong ability to build financial models and structured business narratives
• Experience interacting with investors accelerators startup builders or public funding programs
• Solid network or demonstrated ability to develop institutional and international relationships
• Comfortable operating in early-stage environments with high autonomy and responsibility
• Execution-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
• International experience is a plus
