Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Analyze accounting data from QuickBooks to uncover actionable insights and financial trends.
Apply US GAAP principles including both cash-based and accrual-based accounting methods.
Identify anomalies inconsistencies or potential errors in customer financial records.
Collaborate with the product engineering and analytics teams to translate insights into improvements or feature ideas.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in accounting metrics and practices relevant to small businesses.
Recommend data-backed insights that help improve customer financial outcomes or enhance product capabilities.
Skills:
Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) CPA or equivalent professional certification.
5 years of experience in accounting financial analysis or audit roles.
Solid understanding of US GAAP especially relevant to small businesses and startups.
Strong grasp of key financial metrics such as net income gross margin AR/AP cycles etc.
Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms preferred.
Ability to synthesize large datasets into digestible insights.
Strong communication and presentation skills to convey findings clearly.
Preferred Skills
Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Excel SQL Power BI).
Familiarity with machine learning or analytics workflows is a plus.
