Duties: The Department of Counseling and Health Psychology seeks a Visiting Assistant or Associate Professor to join a psychology faculty dedicated to multidisciplinary and integrated approaches to whole person health in counseling psychology. The position is for one-year with the opportunity for a longer-term appointment. person chosen for this position will be a visiting faculty member with teaching and supervision responsibilities in our Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology addition to teaching and clinical supervision responsibilities will include scholarship student mentorship curriculum development and involvement in departmental and university service activities.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Candidates must have a doctorate in Counseling or Clinical Psychology and license eligibility in the State of Washington or commensurate education and experience (e.g. Counselor Education). A demonstrated commitment to teamwork diversity and social justice alongside a passion for student-centered teaching are required. Area of professional expertise is open but the successful candidate must be enthusiastic about teaching a variety of topics within a flexible generalist framework. Experience working within interdisciplinary health care settings is highly desirable. Preference will be given to candidates licensed to provide supervision within their first year of hire.
Hiring range: Salary and ranking depend on experience ranging from $69588.36 to $84369.60. Preference will be given to candidates previously ranked as Assistant or Associate Professor at a regionally accredited institution.
